Description
The island of Malta is one of the most popular and attractive
holiday centers of Europe. Surrounded by the Mediterranean
crystalline waters, its main charm consists of the interesting
mixture of cultures and influences that marked its history.
The institute was founded on 1985, in a building specially
designed for the language education.
Lodging
The school offers lodging in maltese family houses, a
way to learn english daily, as well as about the maltese
traditions and lifestyle. The students can also choose
an apartment in a student residence about 20 minutes away
from the school, a hotel or an apart-hotel rooms.
Academics
The general english course is aimed to those students
looking to communicate in daily situations and to gain
knowledge of the basic principles of the spoken English.
The course is structured to help the student to construct
a basic grammar and vocabulary and to develop communicative
skills. There are 20 weekly classes during 2 to 48 weeks,
in classes of no more than 10 students, with levels that
go from beginner to advanced. There also are personalized
and intensive courses, exam preparation and English for
business.
Activities
There are many possibilities of entertainment in Malta
to occupy the free time left by the lessons. Sport activities
like diving, tennis or sailing, among others, an eager
nightlife; and for archaeology lovers, Malta is the paradise,
plenty of Roman, Norman, and Greek ruins. There are also
tours to Gozo and Comino, to the Blue Grotto caves or
to the city of Mdina.
