Description
ELA established as English school in 1988 in the city
of Sliema, one of the greatest tourist centers in Malta.
The school is 2 minutes away from the Ferry station and
5 minutes of the beach.
Lodging
The lodging possibilities offered by the school are host
family houses, 2 stars apartments or in 3 or 4 stars hotels.
Academics
The school uses the pedagogical method known as Direct
Communicative Technique in which the professors express
themselves only in English as a way to reinforce the knowledge
and to expand the vocabulary of the student. The general
course consists of 20 weekly classes in groups of not
more than 10 students by class, in all the levels from
beginner to advanced. There are also intensive courses
and for IELTS or TOEFL exam preparation.
Activities
Malta offers a great variety of possibilities to enjoy
the free time. There are sport activities like diving,
sailing, horse riding, paragliding, fishing, hiking, or
just a sunbathe in some of the Maltese beaches. The school
can help the student to plan its free time.
