Lodging: For those arriving at the island of Malta to study or as tourists, it is not difficult to obtain lodging, since there are many residential possibilities, in apartments, hotels, guest houses, hostels, or villas.

Renting an apartment: there are no restrictions for foreigners to rent an apartment in Malta, by the time and price they want. Normally electricity, water and telephone expenses are considered outside the rent fee. It is not possible to sub rent. Although there’s no charge for the rent contract, is usually requested a month in concept of advance deposit to cover the possible repair and unpaid bills expenses, returned once the contract is finished.

Other possibilities: Malta has an important hotel infrastructure, with 1 to 5 stars lodgings. It is also possible to rent villas or farms (especially in Gozo), generally with swimming pool and terrace.
